While my family computer at the time could barely run the game, I recall it being a pleasant experience without knowing what to do. This was during a time when I discovered games through word-of-mouth including message boards. Those who played it praised the title for capturing that classic "PB-feel." The last Piranha Bytes game I played was Gothic 2 back in the 00s. Unfortunately, it was released with little fanfare at the time.
Originally released in 2017, ELEX was a title that, like other titles developed by the studio, garnered an earnest following. So sayeth me to call a coincidence that a new Witcher is suddenly announced today, then. PB had pulled this off years before CD Projekt Red would do so with The Witcher, which was impressive.
